February 24, 2025 - Bucharest – Warsaw - Lisbon
Meet at Bucharest Otopeni Henri Coanda Airport at 06:00 in the morning and board flight LO 640, departing at 08:20 to Warsaw. Arrival in Warsaw at 09:10 local time, transit area passage, and boarding flight LO 425 to Lisbon, departing at 09:50 local time. Arrival in Lisbon at 13:15 local time (-2h compared to Romanian time). Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel in Lisbon.
February 25, 2025 - Lisbon – Included panoramic city tour and optional tour of New Lisbon
Breakfast. Start with a panoramic tour of Lisbon (approximately 4 hours) with a Romanian tour guide. The panoramic tour includes a visit to the Belem District with the most beautiful historical monuments from the 15th-16th centuries, a brief stop at Belem Tower, a UNESCO heritage site, and the Jerónimos Monastery, a masterpiece of the “Manueline” style. There will be a short stop to visit the monastery's church and to buy a coffee “uma bica” and a “pastel de nata” – a traditional Portuguese dessert, after which we will reach the Alfama District, where we will visit the Church of the Birth of Saint Anthony of Lisbon, who is the same as Saint Anthony of Padua. The route includes the most important squares in the city: Praça Rossio, Praça Restauradores, Praça do Comércio. After the included tour ends at lunch, you can optionally continue, for a minimal extra cost, with a tour of the new area of Lisbon, built for the World Expo in 1998. Here you can admire Oriente Station, Vasco da Gama Mall, the Oceanarium (entry not included), and the Vasco Da Gama Bridge. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel.
February 26, 2025 - Lisbon - Optional excursion to Sintra–Cabo da Roca–Cascais–Estoril
Breakfast. Free time or optional excursion (8 hours) to Sintra-Cabo Da Roca–Cascais-Estoril. The tour begins with a visit to Sintra - the former summer residence of the royal family, visiting the National Palace (optional entry) or, if time permits, an optional visit to Pena Palace - situated on a peak and the most beautiful and colorful palace in the area. Explanations will be provided outside the museums. The route continues to Cabo da Roca - the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where you can purchase, at your own expense, a certificate of your visit to this important geographical point of the Earth. The tour continues to Boca do Inferno and the famous Cascais - a fishing “village” with wonderful coves guarded by cliffs, offering a magnificent panorama of the Atlantic Ocean. In Estoril, you can admire the largest casino in Europe, the birthplace of the character James Bond - agent 007. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel.
February 27, 2025 - Lisbon - Optional excursion to Azeitao, Sesimbra, and Setubal, with local wine tasting
Breakfast. Optional excursion to the region south of Lisbon. Visit Sesimbra - a typical fishing town, guarded by the medieval castle from the 12th century. Not far from Sesimbra is Cape Espichel. Continue through the Arrabida Mountains and Setubal, where you can enjoy superb views of the ocean. The city is filled with parks, terraces, and restaurants, and one of the most interesting buildings is the Church of St. Julian. On the way back, there will be a stop at a famous place for its wineries, where you can taste the old “Muscatel” wine. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel.
February 28, 2025 - Lisbon – Optional excursion to Obidos – Nazare - Fatima
Breakfast. Optional day trip (8 hours) - Obidos - Nazare – Fatima. Visit the medieval town of Obidos, with its white houses and wrought-iron balconies, where you can taste small cups of the famous ginger liqueur (cherry brandy), after which we continue the route to Nazare – a fishing village known for the layered skirts of its local women. The highlight of the excursion is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima - the most famous pilgrimage site in Portugal, where several apparitions of the Virgin Mary occurred in 1917. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel.
March 1, 2025 - Lisbon - Fado Evening
Breakfast. A free day in wonderful Lisbon, where you can independently visit the famous Gulbenkian Museum, the Fado Museum, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, St. George's Castle, or shop in the pedestrian area of Rua Augusta. You can enjoy coffee or a delicious lunch at one of the terraces with a panoramic view of the Tagus River estuary. In the evening, optionally, we suggest “An Evening of Fado.” Fado is the soulful music of the Portuguese, especially of the Lisboetas, the inhabitants of Lisbon. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of Fado singers - descendants of Queen Amalia Rodrigues, in a peaceful atmosphere. The price includes 2 local drinks of your choice (Port wine, white or red wine) and the show. Accommodation at the MASA CAMPO GRANDE 4* hotel.
March 2, 2025 - Lisbon – Warsaw - Bucharest
Breakfast. Check out of the rooms and transfer to Lisbon airport. Arrival at the airport at least 3 hours before departure and boarding LOT flight LO426 departing to Warsaw at 14:15 local time. Arrival in Warsaw at 19:10 local time and boarding flight LO 639 to Bucharest, departing at 20:55 local time. Arrival at Otopeni at 23:15 local time.
